NCI Student Receives Yes I Can! Award

Congratulations to grade 12 student Chris Schurko for being nominated and receiving a Yes I Can! Last week, a group of our senior high students attended Southeast Helping Hands’ brand new educational initiative: Hungry No More. On the two day workshop they experienced some of the obstacles and complexities facing people in need in the Steinbach area – including a role-play as a food bank visitor!
