SRSS Grade 9 Parent Orientation Evening

The Grade 9 Parent Orientation Evening at the SRSS is on Thursday, March 10 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The evening will consist of a 30-minute presentation in the Gold Gym followed by an Open House. Guided tours will also be available and teachers and counsellors will be present to answer specific questions.

Daily Routine Change Proposed for 2016-2017

NCI is considering revising its daily routine schedule.  The proposal would increase the afternoon break for grades 7-12 students by 5 minutes.  This change would require our school day to begin 5 minutes earlier in the morning at 9:03 am.  Parents are encouraged to provide feedback directly to the school administration.  The proposed schedule is attached for review. Outdoor Ed Camps Upcoming for MY

Grade 6 and grade 8 students will be heading out on their respective Outdoor Education overnight trips over the next two weeks.  The grade 6s will be going to Winkler Bible Camp February 3-4 while the grade 8s will be attending Camp Cedarwood February 10-12.  Parents are asked to have a conversation with your child regarding appropriate behaviour and conduct so that the safety of everyone in attendance is never compromised.  Also, please ensure that all necessary supplies are packed… Read More
